October Fun

We've had tons of fun this month! Killian carved pumpkins

 Yup it's a jolly roger...

 We went trick or treating in downtown Neenah... Did I mention that he's Jupiter this year?

 And we've eaten LOTS of candy (maybe too much).

We went to the YMCA for a family fun night.. it was TONS of fun :) Bounce house:

 And ice skating!! It was his first time skating, and my 3rd time. He used the walker for a few minutes, and then he decided that he could do it himself!

 He got to bowl with pumpkins in the park...

 And made candy egg rolls...

 We've been doing ALOT of art work :)

 Tons and tons of trick or treating time this year... we went to the Zoo Boo and he wore his full costume (notice the arms and legs)

 And had hot chocolate. He loved all the scary displays.. I was slightly more concerned with the gore.

 We made caramel apples (he's been watching Blue's Clues and is obsessed with dressing up as Blue.

 And we had a Halloween party...

It's been a nice October filled with tons of fun activities. Hopefully we can continue to find more activities in the following months. 

We've been going to story time at night, going to Wiggles and Giggles class on Saturdays, Monkey Joes, and just having fun. He's LOVING school as always. He plays with the girls in the house keeping area. He found a watch that he LOVES and wears it all day there. So we just found a watch at a thrift store, and hopefully he'll start learning time :)

Birthday Weekends and Fun!

 

We've had a fun couple of weekends! Oct 8th was my mom's birthday. We went to Fall Frolic Festival. Killian had a BLAST..

After the Fall Frolic, we had dinner and then went to see Dolphin Tail. Killian LOVED it... though he became obsessed about tornadoes which he called "tomatoes". 

 We took advantage of the warm beginning of October and biked to parks

 

Little Farmer in Fall

 

Does my boy love to pose or what? I seriously asked him to smile for me, and this is what he did. Oh My..... Anyways, we went on our annual trip to the Little Farmer, an apple picking farm with lots and lots of fun! We picked a bushel of apples (which weeks later I'm still making into apple sauce and fruit leather)

We picked pumpkins, and then were waiting for the wagon to come back around, so we goofed off. My little poser turned into a crazy boy.... sticking his tongue out at mama.

 

And kissing a pumpkin. Yes.. he's kissing it, not hiding behind it.

 

They have a playground there as well. My poor 27 lb 3 year and 3 month child had such trouble keeping his pants up. :)

 

This was a perfect action shot of how goofy he gets sometimes.

 

Yes.. this is an adorable horse tire swing.

 

WOOO! Big slide. This year he kept telling me that he didn't need me to be at the bottom of the slide. Too bad I needed to be there :)

 

Did I mention that he's a monkey? Oh.. in just about every post? Alright.

A happy boy on a hay ride. It's the simple things really.

This year was tons of fun at the little farmer. He's growing up so fast. It's amazing to think about the first time we went when he was only 3 months old! 3 years later he's just as adorable.

Quarry Quest 2011

YES!!! Quarry Quest came again this year. And this year Killian loved it even more :) We went with his dad, stepmom, me and his half-sister. He played in a sand pile for over an hour waiting to ride the digger....

And he did.... for about 30 seconds.

Quarry Quest is always LOTS of fun :) He found lots of fools gold, went fishing, and bought rocks for his first "rock collection".
